Why is my DeviceLink backup Job stuck in "Pending..."?

Jobs can be in the "Pending" state for a number of reasons

The following reasons may explain why your DeviceLink Job seems to be stuck in the "Pending" state:

  1. There are other Jobs in progress
    1. The DeviceLink Agent only performs one backup at a time. The Job will start once the other Jobs have been completed
  2. The Agent is offline
    1. Queued Jobs will stay in the Pending state until the Agent comes online if you are using the Job Scheduling functionality for DeviceLink
