How to enable Auto-Archive for TIA Portal
Auto-Archive allows users to store project folders and global libraries within a repository in the original .ap## or .al## file format. Prior to committing, Copia will automatically archive the data into the corresponding .zap## or .zal## format respectively.
To enable this feature in the desktop app, click on the Options button under the File dropdown. Choose the Advanced section and check the Enable Auto-Archiving feature. Select the Save button to exit.
In order to utilize Copia's Auto-Archive feature, TIA Portal projects and library contents must be placed inside a folder (directory). The folder must have the same name as the project in order to be correctly archived. You can find more information about TIA Portal project setup in our Documentation.
