How do I search for commit messages?

How to search for commit messages

Searching for commit messages is only available in the Copia web app. To begin, you will need to navigate to the repository you want to search in. Within this repository, go to the  commit history for the branch you want to search through (i.e. main). Then, there is a search bar at the top on the righthand side of the page. This search bar is where you will enter the commit message you are looking for.

For example, if I want to find the commits on my main branch where I edited the Cooking sequence, I can type in "Cooking" or "Cooking Sequence" and look through the results:GIF Recording 2023-07-17 at 3.18.21 PM

Additionally, if you know the SHA of the commit you are looking for, you can type it into the search bar to locate the commit.
