Does Copia support Forking?

Does Copia allow users to create a "fork" of a repository?

Copia does not support repository forking at this time.

If your goal is to create a copy of an existing repository, then there are two options:

  1. You can use Repository templates.  This will copy the current contents, branch protections and topics, if desired.  See:  https://docs.copia.io/docs/git-based-source-control/basic/create-a-new-repository/creating-templates

  2. A Copia to Copia migration of a Repository is another option, which makes an identical copy of a repo, including even PR's, Releases, Issues, etc.
