No, Copia's desktop app tracks changes locally, without the need for a network connection.
You do not need an internet connection in order to make commits in the Copia desktop app. You can commit and branch all offline, and then the changes can be pushed to the remote server when an internet connection becomes available.
PLC project rendering does require an internet connection
