Can a DeviceLink Agent back up multiple different types of devices?

The DeviceLink Agent is not limited to backing up only one type of device. For example, if you have Rockwell and Siemens PLCs and Fanuc robots in your factory, a single DeviceLink Agent will be able to perform all of those backups, assuming that the requisite software has been installed on the Agent.

The only potential limitation to this is if you are trying to back up different versions of a device that requires mutually-exclusive software. Some PLC vendors don't allow you to install both new and older versions of the software on the same computer. You may need to use multiple Agents if you face this scenario.
